1.
I wait for oblivion to hold my arid hand. Deaf to its whisper, blind to its guise and I embrace what is to come. I wait for oblivion to grab me by the throat and take me home where forever is just another word for endless slumber. There's no more strength to hold on to my vices any longer. So let me fade away, just like the rest of them. To hurt you was never my intention but I guess I was wrong in believing that it was worth it. Sometimes a lesson must be learned through actions of severity. But I guess I was wrong to be so selfish, to act like God.
2.
Untitled 04:30
Follies and bounds only keep us down. Tooth for tooth will we ever learn to retrace our own heads where lost truths never slept? All of this means nothing if we will not change. All of this means nothing and yet we stay the same. Fuse our hatred and our wounds, discern the differences of youth. Bleed the histories from our hearts, breathe with lungs and not our tongues.
3.
Youth, our regret. Idle times never left. We're counting days we never kept. We haven't quite reached the end, we've merely just come so fucking close. Fading dreams, a moments lapse, I can't keep stride with all that's passed. Empty words falling flat from sources unsound. It's not what happens, it's just what is told. We've fallen all too far to regain composure. Take me out.
4.
Ghosting 02:50
We ache, we bleed, we drown, we cease to be. I sail the oceans of memories once mapped. Recount the days to salt the loss and regret. If no man's an island then I am lost at sea, without an anchor and you without me. We burned our sails in the soft light of our last night here.
5.
Saudade 05:05
Still left missing the warm light and those who fill it Home never feels quite like a home and like all dreamers I mistook disenchantment for truth It gets so lonely chasing my own ghost in this dead city How can we depend on hearts and stars when there was never any hope for ours And you'll remain at arms length Are we merely chasing lost days or drifting with ourselves to blame, questioning absence of our heartbeats
6.
Our nature is our greatest failure So let me self destruct like a dying star I will burn out bright For a few more moments You will see me shine I'd rather that than to fade away and be a ghost of yesterday I won't be lost in time of forgetful minds I won't be lost in time The cycle repeats as friendships retreat
7.
Hemma 04:01
Four years and an ocean I wait for that smile, forever bright. Γ„lskling, I'm coming home to counting bottles instead of sheep Because dreams never brought you closer to me As our futures are left untouched All the heavens will come for us --- det hΓ€r var fΓΆr dig
